Darryl Holloman Named Dean of Students
Darryl Holloman, Assistant Vice President for Multicultural Programs in the Division of Student Affairs, has been asked to assume additional responsibilities as Georgia State’s new Dean of Students.
Dr. Rebecca Stout, who formerly served as the Dean of Students and Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, will continue in her role as Associate Vice President.
Holloman said he will focus on two priorities: advocacy, making sure students know they have a voice in the Division of Student Affairs; and conduct, handling a myriad of discipline and Code of Conduct issues. Holloman has deep roots at Georgia State. He worked in the Office of the Dean of Students as an undergraduate and obtained his bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees from the university. Holloman left Georgia State in 2004 to become Assistant Dean of Students at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Newark campus.
