Georgia State University is composed of a multitude of units and constituencies with a range of purposes and goals. The visual identity program links the colleges, schools and units to present the institution as a unified community. The Creative Services and Communications Office within the Division of Student Affairs offers strategic solutions for your student affairs marketing and communication needs. From constructing your message to framing it in eye-catching design, our skilled team partners will work with you to tell your story.
The Division of Student Affairs supports the university’s efforts to gain maximum recognition through the consistent use of a logo system and color palette that always displays Georgia State University. Our goal is to create a strong brand identity for the Division of Student Affairs, an important responsibility that we all share.
We will continue to update materials on this site, adding information to help you meet the branding expectations of the university. We encourage you to check the website often.
We appreciate your continued support.
Creative Services Team
The Creative Services Office within the Division of Student Affairs offers support to all units within the division in the following areas:
Print Media Requests:
We are happy to create flyers, posters, brochures, banners, t-shirts, giveaways or any printed media to help promote or market a unit within the Division of Student Affairs.
We offer consulting, individual and walk-in training, monthly meetings and a wealth of experience to ensure all of the necessary tools are available to help enhance your web presence.
Georgia State University Calendar (Active Data):
The Georgia State University calendar is a great way to promote upcoming programs and events to the campus community, and we dynamically feed each calendar into departmental and the Division of Student Affairs websites!
The Georgia State University portal PAWS is one of the main ways students check email and enter GoSolar. Because of this, it is an important to make sure your information is current and up-to-date. Feel free to contact Gretchen Cannon to set up a PAWS editing refresher course.
Trouble editing in WordPress? Forgot how to edit in PAWS or add events in the calendar? Stop by between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Wednesdays, Student Center East, Suite 211 or email Gretchen Cannon to set up an individual training session.
Join the Division of Student Affairs Creative Community! Staff members assigned to printed media, social media, calendar entries, PAWS updates and web editors are invited to our monthly meetings to discuss ways to improve our creative processes. Save the date of our next meeting so you may attend. All are welcome!
Creative Services has created several documents that may help you better understand the Georgia State University branding initiative and improve your creative processes.
