Georgia State Goes Tobacco-Free Oct. 1
Georgia State made the commitment to become a tobacco-free campus in 2012. At the time, Georgia State joined more than 600 colleges and universities across the nation committed to creating a healthier environment for employees, students and visitors. Beginning Oct. 1, all 31 schools in the University System of Georgia will go tobacco-free. Signage will be posted around campus at that time reminding visitors and the community that smoking and tobacco use of any kind is prohibited at Georgia State.
