Welcome to the Student Engagement Virtual Campus

The health and safety of our students, faculty and staff are our highest priorities. While all Georgia State physical campuses are closed to students for the remainder of the spring semester and all on-campus events have been canceled, Georgia State University is open, all classes are being offered online, and the majority of student-support resources remain available to students virtually. We are committed to your success, and will be providing many important aspects of student life in digital formats until the university reopens. Below you will find the many different programs and services being offered in easy and accessible virtual formats.

The University Advisement Center is still fully functioning and able to provide all of our services through virtual appointments. You can easily connect with a member of your academic advising team by logging onto the Navigate Student mobile app or to the Navigate webpage. The CASA at Georgia State is a university hub of faculty, staff, and students helping to make PhD programs, medical school, and law school more accessible to Georgia State students and alumni. Ultimately, we aim to increase diversity among leaders in academic and professional careers, enabling Georgia State alumni to create a more just and equitable society. As the global community protects itself from COVID19, the CASA remains committed to helping you progress toward medical school, law school, or master’s/PhD programs in any field. Atlanta area non-profits are limiting their volunteerism due to social distancing, and all service projects have been cancelled for the remainder of the semester. We have moved all Spring 2020 service opportunities online. However, many venues, museums, and performers are offering access to tours, concerts, and engaging opportunities. The Office of the Dean of Students is still fully functioning and able to provide everything you need remotely through our website. In addition to our standard services like reporting incidents or concerns, financial hardship and emergency assistance, emergency withdrawals, and Dean's certification requests, we are offering a variety of virtual workshops and programs. ISSS will be supporting all the international students and scholars at Georgia State virtually regarding visa and immigration advising. ISSS and ISAC will also be hosting virtual cultural events and promoting knowledge of different cultures to celebrate the diversity of Panther’s international population with the Georgia State community.
